🛌🏻Cebula Boarding

Boarding News

Dear Boarding Parents and Guardians,

After a long weekend break the Cebula community is back refreshed and energised.

We were privileged recently to be part of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish 50th Anniversary celebrations, joining with the parishioners, to celebrate this special and significant milestone.

This year we launched a brand new initiative with our Year 10 boarders. Throughout the year, each student has had the opportunity to give back to their local towns and communities by identifying a project or initiative to make a positive difference, funded by the College up to the value of $1,000.

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of seeing  Mason’s project come to life at the Dalwallinu Show. Mason organised a face painter (who had to travel several hours to the event) to provide free face painting for all the children at the show! They were all absolutely thrilled too.

Well done Mason on this very generous community contribution.

We’re excited for future projects and to see the efforts of the boys come to life.

It’s been great this week attending the Dowerin Field Days and catching  up with former, current and future families. Thanks to everyone who made the time to call in and say hello. I’m looking forward to visiting Karratha next week and connecting with our Mazenod Community.

Next week we begin the 2026 boarding leadership process and I thank the boys who have put themselves forward for the roles of Head and Deputy Head Boarder.
