Book Week 2026 – Symphony of Stories

What a wonderful Book Week we have had at Malvern Primary School! Our students and teachers did an absolutely amazing job dressing up as their favourite book characters for our Book Week Parade. The creativity, effort and enthusiasm on display made the parade such a magical celebration of books and reading!

Throughout the week, many grades took part in a range of exciting Book Week activities, exploring stories, characters and authors in creative ways. During their library sessions, students also had the opportunity to read many of the 2026 CBCA Book of the Year nominated books, discovering new favourites and sharing their thoughts with their classmates.

Each class then cast their vote for their favourite book from the nominated titles. After tallying all of the votes, the Malvern Primary School Book Week favourites were:

It was fantastic to see our students so engaged in discussing, recommending and voting for the books they enjoyed most.
