Headlice, Thunderstorms and Pollens

The sun is out, the flowers bloom,

But so is pollen, bringing doom!

To keep your children feeling bright,

Please give them allergy meds alright—

Or rather, with their breakfast bowl,

To keep the sneezes in control!

If mornings are a chaotic race,

We’ve got a plan to save your face:

Pop to the office, grab a form,

No doctor’s signature is the norm!

Leave some Zyrtec with First Aid,

And have those "forgotten morning" fears allayed.

But wait, the spring sky can look grim,

With thunderstorm asthma on a whim.

If puffers are what your child needs,

Make sure they’re doing the right deeds:

Keep preventers up, don't let them slack,

And pack a Ventolin in their pack!

Now change gears to a creepy-crawly matter,

That makes the whole staff room chatter.

The Spring Headlice Eradication Plan,

Must be deployed by every clan!

Check those scalps once every week,

For tiny hitchhikers we do not seek.

Keep hats to yourself and tie hair back,

Don't rub your heads while on the track!

If you find a bug, don’t start to cry,

Just run to the chemist for a supply.

Treat them once, then wait a bit,

Day 7 requires a re-treatment hit!

And finally, let's give a cheer,

To the quickest class so far this year!

The Preps have won the golden crown,

For the first lice outbreak in the town!

Let’s clean those heads and stop the spread,

So someone else can take the lead instead!
