Specialist Expo 

Our 34 students worked tirelessly to prepare for our Specialist Expo, and what an exciting event it was!

Throughout the term, students have worked collaboratively to plan, design and organise a range of carnival games to entertain and engage our school community. From developing creative ideas to organising materials, setting up their stalls and working together on the day, our students have shown fantastic teamwork, creativity and determination.

The Expo was a wonderful opportunity for our students to put their learning into action while also contributing to our school community. Most importantly, their hard work will help us raise money to support our school, making their efforts even more meaningful.

A huge congratulations to all our 34 students for their enthusiasm, commitment and incredible effort. We are so proud of everything they achieved! 

Biographies & Autobiographies

This term, our 34 students have been busy exploring the fascinating world of biographies and autobiographies!

Students began by researching the lives of inspiring and interesting people, gathering important facts and details before planning, drafting and publishing their own biographies. They worked hard to organise their information, choose significant events and bring each person’s story to life through their writing.

Having explored the lives of others, students then turned their attention to their own lives. They reflected on their experiences, memories, achievements, interests and important people before planning and writing their very own autobiographies.

It has been wonderful to see students developing their research, writing and editing skills while also discovering just how interesting their own stories can be. We are incredibly proud of the effort, creativity and thought they have put into their published work!
