Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden
Program
Students from Years 1–6 have been cooking up an absolute storm this term as part of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program. Using fresh produce harvested straight from our school garden, students have created a delicious range of dishes including zucchini fritters, yoghurt sauce, simple salsa, and seasonal fruit muffins. Nectarines were the star ingredient this term, thanks to their abundance in Victoria after the summer months. If you would like to try the recipes at home, make sure you check out the recipes below.
Preparations for Term 2 are already underway. Keep an eye out for volunteer bookings early next term.
