Mission & Faith Life

Solemnity of St Peter and St Paul – 29 June
St Peter and St Paul are remembered for their unwavering devotion to their Lord and are an example to us of courage, conviction and absolute trust in the power of God to be with them in every circumstance as they took on the challenging task of spreading the Gospel.
This solemnity honours the two apostles who suffered martyrdom in Rome. It celebrates St Peter and St Paul as the founders of the Church of Rome. They are also the patron saints of Rome.
Parish Retreat
Thank you to Fr Mark and Philippa Martyr for organising and presenting the recent St Francis Xavier Parish Retreat. It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout from both the parish and our College community. The session was engaging, insightful, and made the richness of the Mass more accessible. Participants came away with simple and practical ways to pray the Mass more authentically — a gift that will surely deepen our shared faith journey.
Thank You - Heart of Salvado - Book Week Costumes Donations
Thank you to all of our College families who generously donated costumes to Warlawurru Catholic School in the Kimberly. Your donations will be much enjoyed by the students.
Happy Holidays!
“Work is for man, not man for work...
Rest, in the biblical sense,
is a moment of praise and of thanksgiving for the work done.”
~ Pope John Paul II, Laborem Exercens (On Human Work), 1981
In the Catholic Tradition, rest is not a luxury but a sacred part of human life — a time to honour God and reflect on the dignity of our labour. Wishing everyone a safe and happy break!

Pope Francis' Monthly Prayer Intention
In July , we pray for formation in discernment.
Let us pray that we might again learn how to discern, to know how to choose paths of life, and reject everything that leads us away from Christ and the Gospel.
