After School Robotics Program
Koonung Secondary College’s After School Robotics Program is thriving, with students from Years 7–11 enthusiastically preparing for upcoming VEX Robotics competitions.
Students are working collaboratively to design, build, program and test their robots while developing valuable skills in engineering, problem-solving, teamwork and innovation. It has been fantastic to see students sharing ideas, overcoming challenges and refining their designs through hands-on learning.
The program continues to grow in popularity, providing students with opportunities to apply STEM concepts in a practical and engaging environment. We look forward to seeing our teams represent Koonung Secondary College at future VEX Robotics events.

Year 12 Food Studies
Year 12 Food studies have been exploring the media and how it influences food choices. Today they produced a cottage cheese wrap and designed nutritious fillings that promoted satiety and feel good gut bacteria. Cottage cheese wraps went viral a few years back as a way to increase protein consumption.
