Dressage Clinic with Jan Smith this May

College students and community riders are invited to take part in a Dressage Clinic with Jan Smith next week, offering an opportunity to develop their skills, confidence and understanding of dressage training.

The clinic will provide focused coaching for riders wanting to refine their position, improve their horse’s way of going and better understand the connection between training at home and performance in the competition arena. Sessions will support riders in working toward clear, practical goals while receiving feedback from an experienced dressage coach, judge, and steward.

Jan Smith is an EA Level 1 Dressage Coach and Skill-Specific Trainer/Assessor based in Warrion, Victoria. She is also an EA and FEI Level 3 Dressage Steward, an A-Level and Young Horse Judge, and a Judge Mentor. Jan has contributed extensively to the sport through her work with the Victorian Dressage Young Rider Squads and Development Program, Dressage Victoria, the Victorian Coaching Committee and the EA swabbing program in Victoria.

With experience across coaching, judging and competition pathways, Jan brings a strong understanding of what riders need to develop both technically and practically. Her approach supports riders at all levels in building knowledge, improving preparation, and continuing to progress in the sport.

Places for the clinic are limited, and bookings are essential via Humanitix.
