Parents and Friends AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Parents and Friends was held on Monday last week. The reflections at the meeting demonstrated the broad scope and very real contribution that this group has made to the life of the College over the last year. The P&F have contributed significant funds to the now-complete Winter Cooke Garden, and have made a broader contribution through their friend-raising efforts, catering, and through the second-hand uniform shop. I especially thank the outgoing Executive group of Narelle Hill, Zoe Price, Kate Wall, and Phoebe Giles. At the AGM, the Executive positions were opened for election as usual, and I congratulate the incoming Executive:

President - Kate Cain

Vice President - Zoe Price

Treasurer - Kate Wall

Secretary - Phoebe Giles

Outgoing President Narelle Hill has stepped down from her position and does so with our real thanks. Narelle has served the P&F extraordinarily well over the last two years, both as a behind-the-scenes worker and coordinator, and a public representative of the P&F at a variety of College events. I look forward to the opportunity to publicly thank Narelle later in the year. I similarly look forward to working with the new President, Kate Cain, and thank her for taking on the role.

Trivia Night and College Has Got Talent 

I’m pleased, and unsurprised, to see that tickets for the upcoming P&F Trivia Night (Saturday 13 June) and College Has Got Talent (Friday 29 May) are selling fast. You can book for both via the Events page of the College website.
