Hadestown Musical 

Rehearsals for the 2026 MGSC production of Hadestown are well under way and we are bringing a much-anticipated progress report. 

We’ve been diligently rehearsing every Tuesday and Thursday after school. In term 1, the cast worked hard learning the lines, harmonies, and choreography for the first act of the show (and it sounds amazing), and this term they’re kicking off Act 2! 

The magnificent 11-piece orchestra gathers together Tuesday afternoons to get the music sounding crisp and clean; and the crew work in tandem with the cast to ensure that, by showtime, the production will run like a well oiled machine.

Hadestown will play at the Nina Carr Centre from 4 - 8 August, with evening shows weekdays and a matinee on the closing Saturday.
