Kool Skools Award Celebration: Local Talent Shines on Stage

The annual Kool Skools Award Celebration lit up the stage last week as students from across the Albury–Wodonga region came together to share their creativity, passion, and musical talent. Among the standout performers were our very own Charlie McCormack, Ben Rowe, and Duncan Webster, who delivered two unforgettable performances that drew enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

The trio showcased their songwriting talents with an original track that highlighted their unique style, tight harmonies, and confident stage presence. They followed with a powerful cover of “Chicago, putting their own stamp on the beloved song and earning warm applause from fellow students, families, and staff in attendance.

This year’s Kool Skools event once again celebrated the value of youth creativity, giving students a professional platform to record, perform, and collaborate. It was inspiring to see so many Albury–Wodonga schools represented, each bringing energy and artistry to the day.

Charlie, Ben, and Duncan’s work doesn’t end with the live performance. Their music features on the newly released Kool Skools album Kaos, which is now available. We encourage everyone to listen, support our young musicians, and celebrate the tremendous effort that went into creating this year’s album.

Congratulations to all students involved—your hard work and passion continue to make our school community proud!

Carols

This year’s Trinity Carol event was a stunning showcase of talent, energy and Christmas spirit, featuring 160 performers from Kindy through to Year 11. Our choirs, bands and dance ensembles came together on one stage to deliver a vibrant program of traditional and contemporary carols.

Families and friends were treated to beautifully blended vocals, dynamic instrumental performances and captivating choreography—each item reflecting the hard work and enthusiasm of our students and staff.

A highlight of the evening was a surprise visit from Santa, who delighted the crowd and added an extra touch of festive magic.

Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this much-loved Trinity tradition to life. It was a joyful celebration of community, creativity and Christmas cheer.
