As we approach the end of Term 2, I would like to thank our students, staff and families for their ongoing support and contribution to the vibrant community life of St Mary MacKillop College.

Next week marks the final week of term, concluding with our last day of classes on Thursday 25 June. Students will follow their normal timetable on this day before commencing the holiday break. It has been a busy and productive term, and we are grateful for the many ways our students have engaged in learning, faith, service and community activities.

Looking ahead, we are excited to celebrate our annual Hearts & Hands Mass next week. This special liturgical celebration provides an opportunity for us to gather as a faith community and reflect on the importance of living out the Gospel through service, compassion and generosity. The Mass reminds us that our faith is expressed not only through prayer, but also through the care and support we offer others through our actions each day.

Next week also marks the culmination of our St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. As the colder months continue, we are reminded that many individuals and families in our wider community face significant challenges. We encourage all families who are able to support the appeal to do so. Every donation, no matter how small, helps make a meaningful difference and reflects the spirit of kindness and social justice that is central to our College values.

As students prepare for a well-earned break, I encourage everyone to take the opportunity to rest, recharge and enjoy time with family and friends. School holidays are an important time to reconnect, reflect on the term's achievements and return refreshed for the opportunities and challenges of Term 3.

On behalf of the Wellbeing team, I thank you for your continued partnership and support throughout the term. I wish all members of our SMMC community a safe, enjoyable and relaxing holiday break.

God bless and enjoy the holidays.
