Wear It Purple Day

On Friday August 28th BSWPS became a sea of purple, as staff and students participated in Wear It Purple Day. 

Wear It Purple is an initiative that strives to "create safer, more inclusive and empowering environments for LGBTQIA+SB young people". It is imperative that every young person feels safe, celebrated and empowered in their communities.

The initiative supports LGBTQIA+SB young people through:

• Providing resources and support for schools, families and workplaces
• Grants, opportunities and programs
• Advocacy, visibility and awareness
• Partnerships
