Climb Into Japanese Culture

Challenge yourself to a climb on the Japanese Kumundar jungle gym!

When: Sunday 17 May

Time: 9.00 am – 1.00 pm

Where: Criterion House, Bathurst Street (entry via Farm Gate Market)

Also on the day, there will be origami, calligraphy, and hot green tea to enjoy.

This event is hosted by the City of Hobart, in partnership with the Australian Wooden Boat Festival, celebrating their long‑standing sister city relationship with Yaizu, Japan. 

Speedcubing

Speedcubing Tasmania runs monthly meetings in Hobart for people of all ages to come and share their skills and to teach new things. This is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded people.

In addition, there is a speedcubing competition on Sunday 24 May where people can get their speed-solving times officially recorded. The competition is fun and welcoming for all abilities.
