HPV TRYOUTS HAVE BEGUN

2024 has officially begun and the search is underway for our fittest, fastest and most dedicated students to take up this years rider seats. Over the past week our students have conducted a mix of beep tests, SNAP Fitness sessions and sprint riding. In each session we are looking for students who give maximum effort, high levels of commitment and ability to push themselves further than they thought possible. These are the key ingredients along with sound fitness levels and demonstration of school values that will lead to our invitational final stage. 

As each session has been completed some students have made the decision to exit the trials, and I would like to take the opportunity to say a great big thankyou to each and every one of you for simply putting your hand up and giving our trials a go.

For those of you who are successful, keep an eye out for our first race in Melbourne as part of the Victorian HPV series. This is part of your year in our HPV team.

Pushcart expression of interest will be open in the coming weeks as too will some basic tryout sessions for all grade 4 students. If you have any questions around pushcarts in 2024 please don't hesitate to get in touch with Mr. Janssen and Mr Hartland.
