Green Magpies and Green Gurruks
Hello everyone and welcome back to a new school year! We are very excited to open up places for new Green Magpies for 2024. We always accept Grade 3 applications, as well as a few other special spots across the grade 4-6 grades.
Any students interested in joining us are asked to write a letter about why they are keen to join the Green Magpies, and to share any sustainability ideas or initiatives they may have to put forward to continue our positive impact on the Earth, here at Epsom.
How to apply? Just write a letter to the Green Magpie Teachers and deliver your letter to your classroom teacher, who will pass it on to Ms Chamings, Mrs Davey or Mrs Salm. DUE BY FRIDAY 16th February
Thank you to the Green Gurruk families and community supporters that took on the holiday watering. Our veggies, plants and gardens thrived under your care. We appreciate you!!! 🌳
We are in the very early stages of planning an exciting new project that will contribute to a sustainable future... as well as raise money to support environmental charities. We will share more as we develop the details with our 2024 Green Magpie student team, but as a starting point, we are asking for donations:
~ Succulents or hardy plants from our families and community
~ Used coffee cups, preferably tall/large sizes, washed out and in good condition
We will collect them in a container that will be placed outside the office each morning, with this sign.
