Throughout the rehearsal process, it's been incredibly rewarding to witness our students develop both on and off stage. From learning choreography to perfecting their harmonies, each student has grown and developed their skills and stage presence. As always happens, the school production has fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among the cast and crew, forging new friendships and developing connections between students across Years 7 to12.

The Addams Family brings you all the quirky characters, witty dialogue, and heart-warming moments that you love from the original show and movies, along with a new storyline.  Yes, Wednesday is growing up -  and the Addamses just are NOT ready for that!

This is going to be an extraordinary show! As a part of The Addams Family production, I am thrilled about the music pieces we will play during the performance. As a member of the orchestra team, I have enjoyed rehearsing the pieces which had a range of genres: 1920’s swing, tango, Spanish flamenco , horror and vaudevillian style music are all included.  This music gives the character of what a mundane, dark, and sarcastic family would be like! I believe audiences of different ages will be completely entertained!

I am very excited for The Addams Family school production. I have loved working with people across multiple year levels and learning new skills. As a Dance Captain I have had the added responsibility of choreographing and teaching many dances, so I am very excited to see these on stage. I can’t wait to share this incredible production and all our hard work with the rest of the school and the wider community.

The Addams Family is a must-watch Brunswick Secondary production. We have made pretty much everything needed for the show from scratch! I have enjoyed being a part of the backstage community, creating and painting props, interacting and cooperating with the onstage cast - even painting the family portrait! I have all the songs stuck in my head and I am so excited to see everyone perform. It has been lots of fun.

What a ride! Learning, rehearsing, and soon to perform The Addams Family  is and has been a wonderful journey, and everyone has put so much effort into making this show a reality. 

From the ensemble to the [principal] cast, the band, backstage crew and our teachers, we've all put loads of time into this. I can say for sure that the performances will be amazing. It has been a heap of fun working on The Addams Family and I'm so excited to perform it. Break a leg everyone, and enjoy the show!

I am so excited for The Addams Family production! It has been so good getting to know new people and experiencing new things. I have always loved the productions and this one has just peaked my love for theatre. Rehearsing (and soon to be performing) is so much fun [surrounded by] amazing people. The teachers have been fantastic in guiding us through the show. I recommend everyone should take this chance to go see such an amazing production. Enjoy the show!!
