SLRC News
Semester Break - SLRC Opening times
The Library will be open for Year 12 students only over the next holiday break, but strictly for the last week only (Monday 14th July to Friday 18th July).
The SLRC will be closed for the first 2 weeks of the holiday break (30th June – 11th July).
Opening hours will be from 8.30am to 4.30pm weekdays. This is to help Year 12 in their preparation of the Trial HSC exams.
Please note : the SLRC will also be closed on the 21st and 22nd July, before school restarts on 23rd July for Term 3.
While the SLRC has HSC resources, there are also HSC resources at BMCC library branches – Blaxland, Springwood and Katoomba. Details can be found on the BMCC library website: https://library.bmcc.nsw.gov.au/.
If you click on the tab “Resources” on the top of the page, you will then find a tab labelled “Young Adults” (information on what is available for study purposes, and databases) and “HSC collections” (items for students to borrow). Resources for Young Adults
The 3 main branches also have study areas for individuals, or group work if you wish to study with your friends.
If students have borrowed any SLRC items, please return any that you have finished with to allow others the chance to use the resources, and see Miss Wells in the Senior Library to renew any items you are still using (provided they have not been reserved by others). If students need any Library resources for the break, please borrow them before 3pm Friday 27th June.
The ICT department will also be closed to students during the first 2 weeks of the break.
Good luck with your exams.
