Australian Mathematics Competition 2025

The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) will be held next term on Tuesday 5th August and Wednesday 6th August The competition runs over the two days to accommodate for the increasing number of students at St Simon’s who wish to compete! Last year we had an amazing 135 students who entered the competition, what a great effort!

It’s open to all Grade 3 to Grade 6 students to enter the competition. The Australian Mathematics Competition is designed to be a fun event to promote Mathematics as well as giving students external recognition of their achievements. 

Please keep an eye out for the form on Operoo for families to complete if they wish their child to participate. Also, our CDF Pay App will open for payments.  (Open the CDF Pay App > Payments > Select your Child>Select Maths Competition)

The deadline for permission and payment is on Thursday 3rd July in order for your child to participate in the competition in Term 3.
