Year 3 Term 2 Snapshot of Learning 

Recently, the Year Three’s have been learning about Mary the Mother of Jesus. We explored the Rosary and students demonstrated their learning by creating their own set of Rosary beads as a traditional Catholic devotional item used for prayer. 

We began by understanding the structure: five decades made up of ten small beads each, separated by larger "Our Father" beads, along with a crucifix. Each bead placement has a purpose, representing specific prayers like the Hail Mary and the Our Father. By the end, we had not only crafted a Rosary but also developed a deeper appreciation for its meaning.
