Year 2 Term 2 Snapshot of Learning 

Year 2 students have been involved in some wonderful learning throughout Term 2. As part of our inquiry unit on Natural Disasters, we began the term by exploring one natural disaster each week. Together, we examined what makes an event a natural disaster, how it affects communities, and how people rebuild homes and infrastructure after such events.

he students were highly engaged in their learning and particularly enjoyed choosing one natural disaster to investigate further. They researched interesting facts, created PowerPoint presentations, and designed posters to showcase their findings. Their hard work culminated in a fantastic Year 2 Expo, where they proudly shared their learning with parents, carers, and peers.

We would like to congratulate all our Year 2 students on the tremendous effort they have put into this inquiry unit. The Year 2 teachers are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, curiosity, and creativity the students have shown throughout the term.
