LITERACY

During Writing, students have been working hard to research and publish informative pieces about different countries of the world. They have been learning how to find interesting facts, reword information into their own words and present their research using non-fiction text features, such as subheadings, captions and labelled images.

It has been wonderful to see our students developing their research and writing skills while discovering fascinating facts about countries from around the world!

MATHS

In Maths, we have been learning about division and exploring different strategies to help us share amounts equally. Students have also been investigating the connection between multiplication and division and learning how their multiplication facts can help them solve division problems.

Term 4 Speaking Topics

A copy of next term’s speaking roster and topics was sent home with students this week to give everyone plenty of time to prepare for their upcoming speaking presentation.
