✨🪩 LCS Glow Disco – What a Night! 🪩✨

The Glow Disco held on Friday 4th September was a huge success! We sold an amazing 87 tickets, and it was wonderful to see children from all grades across the Primary School attend and enjoy the evening together.

Everyone’s efforts to embrace the glow theme were certainly rewarded. The fantastic lights, which the School Council kindly allowed us to hire, created an amazing atmosphere, and the glow face paint looked incredible under the lights. The room was definitely GLOWING!

All that glow set the scene for a night full of music, dancing and fun. The Indonesian Room was PUMPING, with the children dancing from the moment they arrived until the end of the night. They also loved singing — at times, the children were even louder than the music!

The dance moves on display were fantastic. We saw some old favourites making a comeback, including the electric worm, the wheelbarrow, sprinklers and good old-fashioned breakdancing. Parents and Friends had a few laughs watching and thinking, “They must have learnt that from their parents!”

A huge thank you goes to Bethany Sharp, Tegan McDougall, Helen Hartley, Eliza Ayres and Sally Frith. Events like this require a great deal of planning and preparation, and nights like this would not happen without the support and hard work of our volunteers. The children certainly had a wonderful time.

A special thank you also to Megan Portwine and Jane P for cleaning the room before Parents and Friends arrived.
