Round Square Global Challenge!

All Round Square Schools have been issued a challenge- to work together to cover 24,901 miles by Round Square Day on 5 June 2025. If achieved, we will have gone ‘around the world’.
Every Round Square school needs cover at least 100 miles for this to happen. We can reach our target any way we like, and as we do so we are asked to raise funds for Round Square Service Projects which many of our students have participated in over the years. The most recent being in Vietnam and Thailand.
Our Round Square Committee is inviting all staff and students at St Philip's to be part of this wonderful event. We don’t want to run or walk or swim like other schools; we want to ‘DANCE’ our way to 100 miles! We don’t want a few to do it, we want our entire school to be involved.
So on the 14th May during Aspire, our whole community is asked to wear their PE uniform (or sports clothes for staff!), bring at least a gold coin donation and join the very enthusiastic Round Square Committee to do ‘JUST Dance’ in the Sports Stadium.
We will record the step count of a cross section of staff and students and this will help us measure our overall distance. We will have no more than 20 min to reach our target of 100miles!
This is a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together for some fun and laughter and to raise much needed funds for projects helping children and families in communities across the world. Come on St Philip's, we can do this!!!
