From the Principal's Desk

It has been another vibrant and busy fortnight at All Saints' as we approach the end of my time here as Principal for this term.

Yesterday, a number of our students travelled to Tumut to participate in the Trent Barrett Shield. They represented our school with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, and I commend them for their efforts on the day.

This week, we also took an exciting step towards the future, holding our first Kindergarten Transition for our incoming 2026 class. It was wonderful to see the new students and their families in our school community.

A special thank you to Mrs. Thomsen for her excellent work in organising and running a very successful morning.

Last Thursday, our school was treated to a fantastic performance, 'Ghana Beat My Drum'. The energy and rhythm brought were infectious, and the students thoroughly enjoyed the engaging and educational experience.

Next week is Book Week, a wonderful celebration of literature and creativity. A love of reading is an essential skill that opens the mind to imagination and information. Unfortunately, I won’t be here for the celebrations; however, I very much look forward to seeing pictures of all the wonderful costumes and reading about why students chose the characters they’ve dressed up as.

Finally, as this is my last week, I want to formally announce that Mrs. Middleton will be taking over as Acting Principal from Monday of next week. I wish her all the very best for the remainder of the term, and have no doubt she will do an outstanding job leading our school in my absence.

Thank you for your support and I look forward to seeing you all again next term.

God Bless,

Daniel Francis

Principal
