Year 4/5/6

Over the past two weeks, we have been developing a wide range of skills in both sport and English. From teamwork and strategy on the netball court to confidence and expression in Readers Theatre, our students have been challenged and inspired in new ways.
PDHPE: Building Skills On and Off the Court
This term in sport, our class has been developing our netball skills with a twist! To keep things fun and engaging for everyone, we’ve explored different variations of the game, including Netball Rugby and Netball Tag. These creative adaptations have encouraged students to think strategically, adapt to new rules, and work as a team.
Our lessons always kick off with Run Club, which is proving to be a great way to boost fitness and resilience. Some students are now impressively running 1 kilometre in under 5 minutes, a fantastic achievement that shows how consistent effort leads to improvement.
PD5-4: Performs and refines movement skills in a variety of sequences and situations.
PD5-5: Proposes, applies and assesses solutions to movement challenges.
