Dad and me Built it!
‘Build It’ is an interactive school holiday activity for children with their dads and male carers.
When: Tuesday, 30 June 2026

Participants can enjoy a fun evening with a variety of hands-on activities, including building with Lego/Duplo, PLANKS designing, a paper plane challenge, and a creative "Dad and Me" wind car build.
We know that all families are unique - this activity is inclusive and everyone is welcome.

Platypus, Plants and Pizza
Create a positive impact through revegetation planting, whilst learning about local native plants. Have a yarn with an Indigenous Elder and find out about the local First Nations people. Make pizzas in the wood fired over, then relax watching an environmental movie.

Designed for young people, enjoy a day outside learning about the platypus that live in the local creeks.

Stay and Plays
Stay and Plays at the Mt Evelyn Toy Library welcome families to come and have a play with the toys and meet other local families.
The Yarra Ranges Council Early Years Team will pop in for visit on Monday, 15 June - come along and enjoy a play and an interactive story time.

Sustainability Toy Swap
Families are invited to bring up to 5 clean, complete and unbroken toys to swap for up to 5 “new-to-you” treasures. It’s a great way to reduce waste, declutter at home, and give pre-loved toys a second life — all while enjoying playgroup.
