The Hunter Community Garden

The Hunter Community Garden is a special project at Athol Road Primary School that began in 2015. Back then, the area was overgrown with weeds and bushes. Mr Hunter had a wonderful idea to transform the space into a garden where vegetables could be grown for the community.

With the help of dedicated parent volunteers and school councillors, many months of hard work turned the space into the thriving Hunter Community Garden we see today.

The ARPS Parent Group will continue to care for and develop the garden, ensuring that the efforts of Mr Hunter and the many families who contributed over the years continue to flourish.

Join us every Wednesday afternoon from 2pm to 3:30pm in the ELC.
