Bullying No Way Week – Small Acts, Big Impact

This week, our school has been proudly participating in Bullying No Way Week, with this year’s theme “Small Acts, Big Impact.”

The theme reminds us that our actions don’t need to be big to change someone’s world. Small actions, such as including someone, speaking up, showing kindness or standing beside someone, can create meaningful change.

Throughout the week, our classes have been participating in a range of engaging activities and discussions focused on kindness, inclusion, respect, empathy and positive relationships. Students have been exploring how their everyday words and actions can help others feel safe, valued and included.

Our goal is to build a school community where everyone belongs, diversity is celebrated and bullying is never accepted.

We encourage our students to continue putting the theme into action by looking for opportunities to make a small difference each day. Whether it is inviting someone to join a game, offering a kind word, standing up for someone or simply making someone feel included, small acts can have a big impact.

Together, we can make our school a place where everyone feels safe, respected and that they belong.

 Wear a ‘Pop’ of Purple!

To help us show our support and celebrate Bullying No Way Week, students are invited to wear a ‘pop’ of purple this Friday 21st August. This could be a purple socks, hair accessory, ribbon or any other small touch of purple.

Together, we can make our school a place where everyone feels safe, respected and that they belong.
