& Family Maths Night

Mathslympics & Family Maths Night      Wednesday 2nd September 2026

We are excited to remind families that Mathslympics and Family Maths Night will be held on Wednesday the 2nd of September.

During the day, our students will participate in Mathslympics, working in teams to complete a range of exciting mathematical challenges, games and problem solving activities while earning points for their House.

Students are encouraged to wear their House shirt or dress in their House colours (red, blue, green or yellow) to help create a fun and colourful atmosphere throughout the day.

Please remember that Mathslympics is a student and staff event only. Unfortunately, due to capacity limitations, we are unable to accommodate family members during the daytime activities. Don't worry, though. We'll make sure plenty of photos are taken so you can share in all the excitement!

Then, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, we would love to welcome parents, carers, grandparents and family members back to school for our Family Maths Night.

With more than 200 families attending our previous Family Maths Night, we're looking forward to another fantastic evening filled with hands on maths games, puzzles, estimation challenges and problem solving activities.

There will also be plenty of practical tips and ideas to help you support your child's numeracy development at home, regardless of their age or stage of learning. Families will have the opportunity to work through a range of fun, engaging activities alongside their children and discover that mathematics can be both meaningful and enjoyable.
