KICKING GOALS IN P.E!

During our recent kicking unit in PE, the Prep to Year 2 students have been developing some fantastic foundational soccer skills. They have been learning how to correctly position their non-kicking foot, use the inside of their foot for accurate passes, and kick with their laces for more power. A big focus has been on balance, coordination, and keeping their eyes on the ball. Through fun games and partner activities, students have also started to build teamwork and communication skills, applying what they’ve learned in simple game situations. It’s been great to see their confidence grow with each session!

SOCCER SKILLS ON SHOW IN P.E!

Students in Grades 3 to 6 have been actively building their soccer skills during our recent PE unit. They’ve focused on developing greater control and technique in both passing and shooting, learning to use different parts of the foot for various types of kicks. Dribbling under pressure, maintaining possession, and effective positioning on the field have also been key areas of focus. Through small-sided games and skill-based drills, students have been improving their decision-making, teamwork, and overall game awareness. It’s been fantastic to see their enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and growing confidence throughout the unit!
