It’s been a big term for sport, with our students representing Toogoolawah SHS at Lockyer Zones, Darling Downs Regional carnivals and Qld State carnivals, as well as the Somerset Cup.

Some reports are as follows:

• Imogen, Calarni, Adelaide and Milla all recently put on a great performance at the Girls Rugby League Qld State Champs.
• Grace and Ben competed at the Queensland Schools Orienteering Championships Their strong results have earned them spots in the Queensland Schools Orienteering Team heading to the Australian Schools Orienteering Championships later this year.
• Nevie recently attended the Darling Downs Multi-Class Athletics carnival for numerous running and throwing events. Nevie received two Gold and two Silver medals and has qualified for the Darling Downs Team that will travel away for the State Multi-class champs later this year.
• Brax, Gemma, Angelo and Ben all recently represented the school at the U13-19 Darling Downs Regional Athletics carnival over two days. Brax received 2 Silver medals from the carnival.
• A number of Toogoolawah SHS Rugby League teams have been out this term involved in different carnivals in both the Boys and Girls divisions.
• Toogoolawah SHS has won the Somerset Cup for the first time, with some great performances over the two rounds in Volleyball, Soccer, Touch and Netball. A big congratulations to all the students involved here and the staff that have helped coach the teams.

Well done again to all these students on their personal achievements and helping to keep Toogoolawah on the map in terms of Sport!
