A Note from the Principal

End of Term 3

As we reach the end of another busy and rewarding Term, it is timely to pause, reflect and acknowledge the many achievements of our students, staff and wider school community.

Term 3 is always a significant part of the school year. For our Year 12 students, the final stage of their secondary schooling journey is now very much in sight. There is a growing sense of anticipation as they prepare for their final assessments, examinations and major celebrations in Week 7 of Term 4. While there is still plenty of work to be done, I hope our senior students take a moment to recognise just how far they have come. Their journey through secondary school has been filled with challenges, opportunities, friendships, successes and lessons that extend well beyond the classroom.

For all of our students, Term 3 has also provided countless opportunities to learn, grow and contribute. Whether through academic achievement, sporting success, cultural activities, leadership, community involvement or simply demonstrating our core values of being respectful, being responsible and being committed to achievement, these everyday successes are what make our school community strong.

I would also like to acknowledge our staff. Schools are complex and busy places, and the work of our teachers and support staff often extends well beyond what is visible. Their commitment to providing engaging learning experiences, supporting students, encouraging high expectations and creating a safe and inclusive environment is something we value greatly. I thank them for their professionalism, energy and care throughout the term.

Finally, I would like to thank our parents, carers and community members for your ongoing support. Education is at its strongest when schools, families and communities work together, and your support makes a significant difference to our students.

I trust that all members of our school community enjoy a well-deserved break over the holidays. Take the opportunity to rest, reconnect with family and friends, enjoy some time

doing things you enjoy outside of school and return ready for what promises to be an amazing Term 4 ahead.
