Marvellous Monican

For the month of September, we would like to award the Marvellous Monican to Teresa Luu of 12 Indigo.

As a Year 12 student, Teresa has been instrumental in the success of Be More initiatives throughout this year, consistently demonstrating strong character through her social awareness. Her creativity has made a significant contribution to the group, particularly through her original artwork for the Be More theme, Signs of Hope, and the design of the Be More Radio logo. Teresa has also enthusiastically participated in a range of significant events, including Harmony Week, Be More and Rerum Novarum Formation Day, and the Exodus Community Drop-in Service. Through her involvement in both Be More and Student Council, she consistently demonstrates the principles of Catholic Social Teaching through service and respect for the dignity of others. Most recently, Teresa embodied the Monican spirit through her leadership as one of the hosts for the pilot episode of Dignity in Every Story podcast with Father Bernie Lane. Her willingness to contribute her creativity, voice and time to the College community makes her a deserving recipient of Marvellous Monican.
