Year 10 Technology - Building Guitars

Year 10 Guitar Making Project has provided students with the opportunity to construct their own electric guitars while developing a range of practical and creative skills.

Students have done a fantastic job throughout the project, demonstrating enthusiasm, patience, problem-solving, and attention to detail as they worked through each stage of construction. They have developed skills in measuring, shaping, routing, sanding, and finishing timber, while learning to use workshop tools and equipment safely.

It has been particularly rewarding to see students take ownership of their projects and develop a genuine sense of pride in their work. Seeing their ideas take shape and become finished, working guitars has been a great achievement for students. It would be exciting to believe that these guitars may become part of their musical journey, and one day be played on stage by the next generation of musicians.
