Cross Country Carnival and Quiz Day

CROSS COUNTRY
The end of the first week of Term 2 saw the Interhouse Cross Country for 2026. An event many students eagerly anticipate each year. It offers not only the challenge of completing the 5 km circuit but also the chance to represent their house with pride.
This year, however, brought some unexpected changes. With the river still flowing, adjustments had to be made to the course. Despite the altered circuit, it was fantastic to witness the vibrant spirit, colour, and energy on display throughout the day. Even with the differences, the sense of enthusiasm and house pride remained as strong as ever.
A big thank you to all the staff and students who assisted with setting-up the course and a special mention to Riley Simpson for all his work through the planning and delivery of the carnival.
Congratulations to all runners for their efforts and well done to Partridge House on their victory.

Thanks to Academic Captain Jevindu Jayatillake for guiding the afternoon and MCing the event and to the staff and students who helped put it all together.
Congratulations to the mighty Topsy Smith House who were the 2026 champions!
