SSV State Cross Country
Congratulations to Heidi S and Sophie R, who represented Charlton College at the School Sport Victoria State Cross Country Championships held at Yarra Glen on Thursday 16 July.
Competing against the best runners from across Victoria, both girls produced outstanding performances in their respective 3 km events.
- Heidi S finished 30th out of 77 competitors in a time of 13 minutes 46 seconds.
- Sophie R finished 35th out of 86 competitors in a time of 13 minutes 16 seconds.
Qualifying for the State Championships is a significant achievement, requiring students to progress through House, North Central, and Loddon Mallee Regional competitions.
Well done to both girls on their outstanding achievements. Everyone at Charlton College is incredibly proud of the dedication, determination and effort they have shown.
NCD Netball
Our Junior Girls Netball team travelled to St Arnaud on Wednesday 22 July to compete in the Loddon Mallee Region Junior Girls Netball Playoff.
While the girls didn't come away with the result they were hoping for, they had a fantastic afternoon, showing great enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship. Well done to all the girls on their positive attitude, encouragement of one another and the way they represented the College.
