From the College Chaplain

Finding Peace through Service

This term, our College community is focusing on supporting the homeless as part of our service to the community. Each term, we choose a charity or cause to support. This term, we do not just want to donate money — we want to offer our time, resources, and prayers. In doing so, we become part of God’s peace in the world.

Jesus calls us to be His hands and feet — to care for those in need and to offer hope where there is hurt. In Matthew 25:35–40, Jesus says, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink… whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Jesus served us and gives us peace. Now it is our turn to serve others and share that peace too.
