On Friday 25 April at 6.30 am, the College Captains attended the Dawn Service at the Cenotaph on Watton Street, Werribee. The service was a fitting reminder of the privilege we have living in a peaceful nation, achieved by the sacrifice of many for our sake.
As a Christian community we are reminded of the ultimate sacrifice achieved through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
“For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.”
Hebrews 10:14 NIV
As we launch into Term 2, our Anzac Day commemorations remind us of the importance of striving for peace in our community.

Year 8s just wrapped up three epic days at Bayview Adventure Camp in Week 1. From surfing the waves 🌊 to flying through the air on the giant swing 🎯, racing on mountain bikes 🚵, tackling the high ropes 🧗, and cruising in canoes 🚣♂️ — every moment was packed with energy, laughs, and memories! The campfire night 🔥 was the heart of it all, with everyone coming together to share stories, sing, and soak up the good vibes. 💬🎶 The courage, teamwork, and positive spirit shown by our students were absolutely inspiring. A huge shoutout to our amazing staff and students for making this camp one to remember! 🎉🙌

Gravitate is a Certificate III course that provides a unique experience for students to dive into Biblical Studies and lead Christian Ministry in a rapidly changing world.
GNLC students, Alexandria, Sienna and Magdalena attended the Leadership Training Camp in March hosted by Youth Dimension. We met with many Christian schools from all over Victoria, participating in “The Roman Road” experience at Phillip Island. Students participated in unique challenges, electives, worship services and outdoor activities, all dedicated to growing students in their leadership, teamwork and faith. This camp was inspiring and fun, giving us the opportunity to connect with new friends and to share our Christian faith.
“We loved the worship during camp. We felt God’s presence and the flying fox was such fun as well!”- Alexandria
