Celebrating a Wonderful Week at POPS
This week has been a fantastic reminder of the strong community spirit that makes POPS such a special place.
We began with our Preschool Storytime, where our wonderful Year 6 Library Team (Bette, Zachariah, Chelsea, Archer and April supported the preschool children with care and enthusiasm. Their leadership and kindness were on full display.
Our Year 3 – 6 students also represented POPS proudly at the District Cross Country. There were many individual achievements and personal bests, and we are thrilled to share that the POPS team finished first overall. A tremendous effort from all involved. To read more visit the Sports News page

Last night’s Open Night was a wonderful showcase of the engaging learning happening across the school. Thank you to all staff for the time, creativity, and energy you put into preparing your spaces and activities, it truly showed.
I had the pleasure of taking a large tour of prospective parents who were impressed by the warmth of our community and the quality of learning at POPS. Thank you to our school captains Abbie and Harvey, and vice captains Grace and Jaime, for supporting the tour with such confidence.
The evening finished with a beautiful performance from our school choir, conducted by Mrs Bowen, a perfect way to end the night.
Thank you also to our School Council President Mr Tanner, Vice President Mrs Fisher and her husband Mr Fisher and Will, and Mrs Hartley and Judd, Marty and Micah for running the sausage sizzle with sausages generously donated by TheirCare. We also appreciate the support from Georgia and Zara in our Year 6 Canteen Team.
It was a true team effort and a great celebration of our school community.
Thank You
A huge thank you to Mrs Perrett (Abbey) and Mrs Murrell (Ben and Jack) for their wonderful work rejuvenating the garden bed in front of the Foundation classrooms. It looks fantastic, and if you haven’t had a chance yet, please take a moment to go and see the snake! It has quickly become a favourite with our students and wider community!

School Council
At Tuesday night’s meeting, School Council ratified the arrangements for our Term 4 China Sister School Trip. A group of students and three staff will travel to Jinling Primary School in Nanjing as part of our ongoing partnership, providing a valuable cultural and learning experience.
School Council also discussed ways families can share feedback about programs, events, celebrations, or concerns. Feedback is always welcome through the school office, by emailing the leadership team, speaking directly with staff, or contacting School Council representatives.
