Uniform Supplier Transition: A Plus to Lowes Schoolwear
Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to inform you of an important change regarding our school uniform supplier. After a long and valued partnership with A Plus Schoolwear, we will be transitioning to Lowes Schoolwear as our new official uniform provider.
A Plus Schoolwear (the company) has been purchased by Lowes Schoolwear
This change will take effect from 1st July 2025, and we are confident that this move will bring a range of benefits to our school community, including:
- Improved accessibility: Lowes Schoolwear offers both in-store and online purchasing options, making it easier for families to access uniforms at their convenience.
- Consistent stock availability: With a strong retail presence and national distribution, Lowes is well-equipped to meet demand throughout the year.
- Competitive pricing: Lowes is committed to offering quality schoolwear at affordable prices.
We understand that changes like this can bring questions, and we are working closely with both A Plus and Lowes to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. A Plus will continue to supply uniforms until 30th June, including any uniform that is on backorder, and Lowes will begin stocking our full uniform range in their Airport West shop from 14th July 2025.
Further information, including store locations, online ordering instructions, and any updated uniform guidelines, will be shared with families shortly.
We would like to sincerely thank A Plus Schoolwear for their years of service and support, and we look forward to beginning this new chapter with Lowes Schoolwear.
If you have any questions or concerns about the transition, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
We have been extremely busy on the farm during these cold days.
We have been renovating our old 1970's bus with lots of paint. We are turning it into a break, lunch, indoor working space. We plan to do a colourful mural on the outside.
We were very fortunate to win a $2000 grant from Bank First to help pay for the project. Check out our photos, some of which were taking with the drone.
Don't forget you can follow us on Instagram to keep up with all our hard work.
Introducing Jude
I would like to introduce Jude to our Jackson Community.
As many would know Dusty retired last year from his therapy dog role here at school. He
was loved by many and truly missed here. Jude, now has some big paws to fill as he steps into school to start his journey as our new therapy dog.
Jude is just under 5 months and is a Cavoodle (more Cav and oodle as you can tell from his straight hair)
He has made a few short visits into the school and has started meeting the students. Both the students and Jude been very well behaved. He has even been showing the students some of his tricks.
Jude has passed his puppy training and is now onto level one training. He will officially take his therapy dog training when he is a bit older.
All the students have a choice to approach Jude and any students who are a bit worried will be given the space they need. Slowly he will increase his time at Jackson as he grows more confident.
We was named after an English football (soccer) player and also from the Beatles song "Hey Jude!"
Here are a few photos.
