Foundation (Prep-Year 2)

1/2C have had an incredible Term 2!

Our 1/2 students have been loving our ‘Community Helpers’ inquiry unit, learning and playing. We have been learning how to read through our phonics program, Little Learners Love Literacy. 1/2C has excelled at following the school routine and have continued developing their independence. We have expressed ourselves by writing about our targeted role play sessions in which we dressed up as different community helpers. In Numeracy, we have been learning about quantities, particularly “more” and “less”. 1/2C particularly liked sorting between recyclable and non-recyclable objects. Well done 1/2C!

Lower Primary (Years 3-4)

The Lower Primary Team have been learning about how to use iPads safely. We have spoken about how to hold the iPad with two hands, keep the iPad away from water and food. We have also discussed how it is important to touch the screen gently and be careful when plugging in the charger. We had fun learning about how these rules help keep the iPads in good condition.
