Eclipse House News

It has been wonderful to see the shift in activities from the boys in Eclipse House as the weather continues to warm up.
Some of the boys have been up early and heading out for a run before school, with plenty of cricket also being played both before and after school. The basketball court remains popular, and the bikes are getting plenty of use after school as well.
We recently celebrated Mat’s birthday, which is always a highlight as the house comes together to mark the occasion and enjoy a slice of cake with the birthday boy.
This is also a great opportunity to give a shout-out to the boys in Eclipse who are always willing to lend a hand around the school or in boarding. Recently, some of the Year Ten group helped direct traffic for parents attending the Valedictory Assembly. The boys looked incredibly at home in their high-vis vests, radios in hand.
The Year Nine boarders also took part in the Try-a-Trade Day, organised by Mrs Renae O’Donnell at the day school. Once again, the boys enjoyed donning their farm gear and heading out for a day’s work. The highlight seemed to be for those lucky enough to spend the day at the Steakhouse, enjoying a delicious steak sandwich for lunch.
