The atmosphere was electric, with our house chants echoing across the sports ground and each colour house always cheering on for every event in hopes of encouraging the colour participant. Senior Boys Soccer

The MCHF Senior Boys Soccer Team and Coach Mr Gabrael made a remarkable run this season, showcasing their talent and determination by reaching the Competition 3 Grand Final of the PDSSSC Competition. Despite a hard-fought battle, they fell just short, losing 1-0 in golden goal extra time to St. Patrick's Dundas. This season has been one of the most successful the school has ever seen, with the team displaying exceptional passion and resilience throughout. The entire college is incredibly proud of their achievements and the spirit they brought to the field. Congratulations on a stellar season, and commiserations on a narrow defeat in the Grand Final.

Girls in Sport 2024

On the 28th of August, a group of 27 girls across 7-10 had the opportunity to participate in the Girls in Sport Festival event at Olympic Park. The girls participated in a variety of sporting activities that were both engaging and empowering. Additionally, they had the unique opportunity to be spoken to by a panel of experienced athletes and guest coaches who shared their personal journeys and insights into the world of professional sports.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the day and gained valuable knowledge and inspiration from the athletes. It was a fantastic experience that emphasised the diverse opportunities available to women in sport!
