Rock Band News

There is lots of excitement building for our Rock Band members at the moment. We are busy rehearsing for two special events coming up. On the first of September we are heading off to Lalor North Secondary College to record songs we have learnt during the year. We will spend a half day with Phil who is a sound engineer. Songs we have covered so far are: Old Time Rock and Roll, We Will Rock You, Proud Mary, Rocking All Over the World and Jailhouse Rock. We are hoping we can record the five songs to a CD Disk and this disk will be presented to our students later on in the year. Our second important event is on Thursday the 10th of September. At night time we will be performing two songs at the Lalor North SC Winter Concert. This concert is similar to the Big Night Out and our students are really looking forward to performing in front of hundreds of people.
