Wetlands

On Friday, 24th October, students and staff from the MC attended the Great Southern BioBlitz which was held at Fivebough Wetlands, Leeton.

The Great Southern BioBlitz is an annual citizen science event in spring where communities

across the Southern Hemisphere record local plants, animals, and fungi using iNaturalist,

helping create a global biodiversity snapshot while engaging students in hands-on scientific

exploration. 

Landcare and representatives from universities were there to guide us through the Wetlands sharing their knowledge in culture, and flora and fauna.
