Principals Message

I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations and encouragement to all our Stage 6 students who are currently undertaking their Higher School Certificate (HSC) examinations. The HSC is the culmination of years of hard work, focused study, and personal growth. I commend each student’s perseverance, discipline, and commitment throughout this demanding period. Your determination to succeed, even in the face of challenges, is commendable. As you continue your exams, remember to take care of your wellbeing: get plenty of rest, eat nourishing food, and find moments to relax and recharge. We believe in you and look forward to celebrating your achievements in the coming months.

Our Stage 4 and 5 students have also been engaged in important assessment tasks and exams this week. These formative assessments play a crucial role in tracking learning progress and preparing students for future academic challenges. I encourage all students to maintain the positive study habits they have developed, seek support where needed, and approach these exams with confidence. It is important to manage your time wisely, maintain a balanced routine, and stay focused on your goals.

The rollover to the 2026 school year will officially take place on Monday, 17 November. To ensure that students are ready to begin the new academic year smoothly, I ask families to assist students in preparing their school equipment and resources in advance. For our Year 8 students, book packs required for the upcoming year are now available for purchase through the Uniform Shop or the Front Office. Having all necessary materials ready before the start-up will help students to transition seamlessly and begin their studies fully prepared. I encourage all students across all year groups to check their stationery, textbooks, and other learning supplies during the upcoming weeks.

I would like to acknowledge that World Teachers’ Day was celebrated on Friday, 31 October. This is a special occasion for us to recognise and thank all the dedicated teachers and support staff at Narrandera High School. Every day, our staff demonstrate passion, professionalism, and care that profoundly impact our students’ lives and learning journeys. Their commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and challenging educational environment is deeply appreciated by students, families, and the wider community alike. To all our educators and staff, thank you for your invaluable contributions—we truly value all you do.
