Lucas LEAP

Over the past two weeks at Lucas LEAP, students have been focusing on creativity and self-expression through a range of hands-on activities. This focus has encouraged students to explore different ways to share their thoughts, feelings and ideas in a safe and supportive environment.

As part of this, students have participated in craft experiences based around emotions. They have used drawing, colouring, decorating and making to represent different feelings and discuss how emotions can look and feel. These activities have supported students to build their confidence, communication skills and understanding of themselves and others.

It has been wonderful to see students express themselves in their own unique ways and take pride in their creations. We look forward to continuing this term focus.
