Year 9 Army Museum Visit

Year 9 students had the opportunity to visit the West Australian Army Museum, Burt St, Fremantle this week. The excursion had been planned to compliment the students learning in HASS of World War I.

Students rotated through a number of galleries and educational activities such as:

  • Visiting World War I and other galleries of major conflicts that Australians have been involved in.
  • An overview of the tradition ranks and awards such as the Victoria Cross Medal.
  • The impact of Australian prisoners of war.

It was a great day experienced by all the staff and students who now have a deeper insight and appreciation of our defence personnel and the conflicts Australia has been involved in.
