Melbourne Victory updates 

The selection trials for the Melbourne Victory School of Football pilot program at John Fawkner College were held in July for current Year 9 and 10 students, with 30 selected for the inaugural program. The School of Football pilot program runs every Wednesday at the CB Smith Sport & Education Facility for the remainder of 2024. 

Staff and students have welcomed new Melbourne Victory School of Football Head Coach Justin Micallef, who, with the support of a teacher mentor, will deliver a comprehensive program that emphasises sporting excellence alongside academic achievement. The program incorporates high-performance coaching and education and access to exciting guest speakers, excursions, and competitions.

For prospective 2025 students, a Melbourne Victory School of Football Information Session for Students, Parents and Carers will be held at the start of Term 4, followed by Melbourne Victory School of Football Selection Trials for Years 7-10 Students.
